Why this site exists

A tap that runs dry looks exactly the same whether the cause is a tripped breaker, a failed pressure switch, a waterlogged tank or a burned-out motor three hundred feet underground. The symptom carries no information about the cost, and the range between those causes is enormous.

So this site does two things. It explains, in plain terms, what each part of a well system does and roughly what the work costs. And it puts you in front of a contractor who works Maury County and takes readings before quoting anything.

How the work gets done

Every job on this site is carried out by a licensed Tennessee contractor. We are not the crew in the truck, and we will tell you who is coming before anyone is scheduled. If you want to check a license yourself, the TDEC Division of Water Resources, Well Water Program is the register.

• Sell a treatment system for a problem the water test did not find
